Salary dependent on experience

About Quietroom

We’re a team of writers, trainers and strategists. We help our clients write and talk in a way that’s clear, vivid and real – so their story makes sense, so their ideas come to life, so their message sticks.

Who we work with

Our mission is to make money, health, energy and society more meaningful to more people.

We work with clients who have tricky or technical stories to tell. Their products and services are often invisible or intangible – hard to understand and even harder to love. Take a peek at some of our clients.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Writer/Senior Writer to join our team. That’s someone who:

  • Crafts compelling copy

You’ll have at least three years’ experience writing copy that makes clients smile. And you’ll be as happy writing about tricky technical subjects as you are writing show-pony short copy.

  • Plans and runs inspirational workshops

We run workshops that get to the heart of our clients’ worlds. And we train people in the nuts and bolts of great writing. You’ll need to design and run workshops that create a buzz and leave people feeling inspired.

  • Is confident leading projects

You’ll need to know what it takes to keep clients happy. And you’ll need to be comfortable leading projects for clients like Which?, TSB, the National Theatre, Carphone Warehouse, AXA, Prudential, Whitbread and HMRC.

  • Aces project management

You’ll need to be highly organised and proactive. You don’t need to be the ultimate spreadsheet geek, but you shouldn’t be scared of them.

  • Writes persuasive proposals

Sometimes you’ll need to work with our Account Managers to pull together a proposal for a client. That means you need to be able to take a brief and turn it into a plan that hits the spot. Then you need to write a proposal that helps us win work.

  • Loves helping others flourish

We’re a team that looks out for one another. And we like sharing our knowledge. So we’re looking for a natural collaborator who loves bouncing ideas off people and wants to share what they know.

Other nice perks – a great view from the office, ad-hoc team lunches, sharp and supportive colleagues, and quality time with Jimmy the office labrador.
