Jobs at Quietroom

Perfect fit

We’re looking for a new account manager to help grow our business and bring fresh ideas and capabilities to our team.

Account Manager

Closing date: Friday 17 May

– London
– From £28,000 to £40,000, depending on experience
– Plus profit share up to £5,000 a year
– Full time

What you’ll do

You’ll build strong relationships with prospects and clients, getting under the skin of their problems and helping to design projects that solve them. And you’ll work closely with the creative team to deliver great work. You’ll also:

  • create and manage project schedules, making sure work comes in on time and on budget
  • keep in close contact with clients and manage their expectations
  • price your projects and make sure they’re commercially successful
  • represent the company at industry events and grow your network if you want to

We’ve embraced hybrid working, so you can work at home or at our office. We’re in the process of looking for a new office space, but we do know it will be near to Farringdon. You’re free to come in every day if that suits you. We get together for one team day every month, and hold meetings in person when our clients are up for it or our work will benefit from it.

Who you are

Quietroom people come from all kinds of backgrounds. You don’t have to have worked in financial services before, but you’ll probably have at least a couple of years’ experience in an agency or consultancy environment. We look for people who:

  • are methodical, organised and accurate
  • write well, with a feel for language and an eye for typos
  • are curious, quick to learn and enjoy building their knowledge
  • can hold their own when they’re challenged by clients

What we offer

Quietroom is owned by an employee ownership trust, which means it’s run for the benefit of the people who work here. We’ve got ambitious plans for the future and we’re investing heavily in learning and development. This means you could carve out a niche of your own, in anything from new business to video projects. You could well find yourself studying for professional qualifications. You’ll also get:

  • matched pension contributions of up to 6% once you’ve been with us for 6 months
  • 25 days’ holiday in your first year, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure. This rises to 27 days after 5 years’ service.
  • employee assistance programme, for you and your family
  • regular team socials

How to apply

If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you. Please send us an email to [email protected] with your CV and a 300-word cover letter explaining why we’d be a good fit for each other. Please do not use AI to write this. We want to hear from the real you.

Please also tell us where you saw this job ad – this will help us understand the best way to reach people in the future.
