Communicating GMP for thousands of DB-scheme members
How we made GMP as easy as ABC for members of the YCB Pension Scheme.
The Yorkshire & Clydesdale Bank (YCB) Pension Scheme had decided it was time to tackle GMPe for its thousands of members. This would happen in a series of tranches over several years. Due to the sensitivity and complexity of the messages they had to put out, they appointed Quietroom as their strategic comms partner for the exercise.
From 2019 to 2023, Quietroom supported the trustees and their advisers with a major comms exercise. We helped carry members through consultation, rectification, and a new PIE offer.
We created new member journeys, with details of which messages members would receive and when. We produced a suite of communications that included letters, booklets and information packs. And we built, designed and wrote a microsite to alleviate information overload for members, and support the administration team.
