Robin Harries – Senior Writer & Workshop Leader

What do you do?

I work with clients who have important, complicated stuff they need to talk about. I help them figure out the best way of using language to get the results they want.

Why do you do it?

Lots of people live with big risks that they don’t think about. They’re not protected if they fall ill and can’t work, or they’re not saving enough for old age. There are services and products that can help them, but the way these products and services are talked about makes them difficult to understand and access. Tackling this problem is good for customers and businesses alike.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

These days I do lots of dadding: standing around in a playground, running along behind a recklessly-ridden scooter, and pointing at ducks. I also do a bit of rowing when I can fit it in.

What do you miss about going to the office every day?

I live in a ground-floor flat. I miss stairs.
