How to tell your ESG story

A Wednesday Wisdom webinar on why ESG communication matters and how to do it better
Members are starting to ask where their money goes. But the answers are buried in 60-page reports, behind layers of jargon. The information is there. It’s just not reaching anyone. So how do pension schemes tell their ESG story in a way that actually lands?
Quietroom’s Maddie York will be joined by storytelling consultant Marianne Powell and responsible investment communications manager Caroline Hopper for a practical discussion on why so much ESG communication fails to connect – and what pension schemes can do about it.
The session will explore:
- how to make ESG communication clearer, more human and more honest
- using real stories instead of polished case studies
- meeting members where they are instead of expecting them to dig
- keeping the conversation going beyond an annual report
They’ll also look at the tensions: how do you give members agency when you don’t necessarily want them to act? And how do you balance values with financial reality?
This webinar is for you if you write, commission or sign off ESG or responsible investment communications – and you suspect they’re not landing the way you need them to.
